About Parapod Podcast Awards

Parapod Podcast Awards 2026 was founded by Tony Sweet to recognize and celebrate excellence in paranormal, true crime, and unexplained phenomena podcasting from around the world.

"The paranormal podcast community has grown into a powerful global voice, reaching millions of listeners every year. Yet the creators behind these shows—hosts, producers, researchers, investigators, storytellers, and content creators—rarely receive the recognition they deserve. The Parapod Podcast Awards were created to honor their passion, creativity, and dedication while bringing our community together in celebration."
 

Since its launch, the Parapod Podcast Awards has become a premier event dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievements across multiple podcast categories, highlighting the individuals and teams who continue to elevate paranormal and true crime content.

The 2026 Parapod Podcast Awards will once again unite creators, industry professionals, and fans to celebrate the voices, stories, and innovations that inspire audiences worldwide. Hosted by the Earthly Beings Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the awards help support community engagement, education, and the preservation of stories that expand our understanding of the unknown.

The Parapod Podcast Awards were created with the express purpose of celebrating the podcasters and the content produced as part of the ‘paranormal’ genre. 

With updated categories, we are excited to see what you have for us this year! 

• All content must be have been produced in the last 12 months. 
• Content may be entered in more than one category. 
• Submission Fee: $20 per category
