Launched May 2024

Podcasting is one of the most abundant and accessible forms of recorded media in the world today. The production of documentary podcasts and oral histories is an easy and affordable way for anyone to preserve their culture. To that end, we have developed resources, such a downloadable eGuide for recording oral histories and a number of list-articles about podcasting, aimed at providing everyone with "how-to" information for utilizing recorded media for preservation. 

We have also developed a program for speaking with groups of young adults who are interested in podcasting and producing. Our goal is to not only inspire these young content creators but impart to them how powerful this tool can be to document and preserve history and traditions. 

Additionally, we have partnered with a podcast network to develop the TRIBAL PODCAST GRANT.  We will be able to offer a local indigenous group a grant of equivalent value to $3500 for a monthly podcast for a year.  The group will be able to use this podcast to promote tribal awareness, share traditions and history, and preserve aspects of their culture while distributing their content to a host of professional podcast platforms.
